Did you know that Charles Wesley, the brother of
John Wesley wrote 8,989 hymns? Below is an
excerpt from his Prayer Journal:
I am no longer my own, but yours. Put me to what
you will: put me to doing, put me to suffering: let
me be employed for you, or laid aside for you,
exalted for you, or brought low for you.

Hello, Jane. Charles Wesley was a prolific writer. If you interest, I would like to invite you to the website for the book series, The Asbury Triptych Series, a trilogy about the early preaching years of Francis Asbury. The opening book, Black Country, features Charles Wesley and his brother John. The brothers Wesley along with many others mentor the young Asbury. The website for the book series has numerous articles on these great men. The website for the Asbury Triptych Series is www.francisasburytriptych.com. Thank you for the Wesley hymn.
