Be Wise

Be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the
Lord is.  Ephesians 5:17

To understand a thing means not only to know its outward
form, but to know something of its true nature--its inner
meaning and working. It is connection with God Himself,
for the knowledge of that will opens up our hearts to the
very heart of God. What divine wisdom has planned,
Divine power will perform.

We were "Created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk
in them."  Ephesians 2:10. We can count on the Holy
Spirit to lead us into all of God's perfect will.
Andrew Murray

Reader, I find the will of God to be rather simple most days.
It is a text to a friend who is suffering; a trip to the hospital
to see a Mom who needs hope; it is a prayer for one who
has lost his way. It is an openness to a change of plans which
often come as an interference rather than an opportunity--
at least at first.
