Patiently

I waited patiently for the Lord. Psalm 40:1

Once we learn to wait for the Lord's leading in
everything, we will know the strength that finds
its highest point in an even and steady walk.
Many are lacking strength we so desire, but God
gives complete power for every task. He calls us
to perform. Waiting--keeping yourself faithful to
His leading--this is the secret of strength. And
anything that does not align with obedience to
Him is a waste of time and energy. Watch and
wait for His leading. Samuel Dickey Gordon

The rest of the verse at the top goes on to say:
And He inclined to me, and heard my cry. I
have found that my life has been lived in many
vestibules--waiting. Right now I am eagerly wait-
ing for His coming, but walking the path that He
has laid out for me--while rejoicing!

Thank you, Jane. You have been an example of faithfulness in the midst of suffering and waiting on the Lord. We are all closer to the finish line. We still run the race with endurance keeping our eyes on Him.
