In verse three Moses says to God:
“You return man to dust
and say, ‘Return, O children of man!’”
God made man from dust and man
returns to dust when he dies. Not a very
auspicious beginning-- or end.
Why does Moses need a dwelling place, a place
of safety? Because the man Moses is physically
only a pile of dust! Hum...
