Today I want to look at more signs concerning the
people who are in their own land today. As we look
at how things are shaping up for the seven years of
tribulation, we will understand just how close is the
coming of the Lord.
Did you know that the Temple, the Third Temple,
will be rebuilt in Jerusalem according to
Revelation 11:1-8? Can we see any signs that the
Jews are getting ready to rebuild the Temple?
Yes!
In 2012 it was announced that the blueprints for the
rebuilding of the Temple were completed. In addition,
the priests have been trained and the stone altar has
been made. It has actually been used for sacrifices in
recent Passovers. All the furnishings have been made
according to scripture and even the anointing oil has
been mixed.
So, why is building the third Temple so important? It
is because scripture says that the Jewish people will
make a covenant of peace with the Anti-Christ, the
Man of Sin who will allow them to build the Temple
on the Temple Mount. When this Peace Treaty is
ratified then the seven year Tribulation begins, but
midway through the Anti-Christ will set himself up
as God in that Temple. Daniel 9:20-27 speaks of seven
years connected to the Anti-Christ who will come as
a "man of peace" and deceive the whole world.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 speaks about this Man of Peace
setting himself up as God.
Can we see any signs of a peace initiative today?
Beginning in 1967 world leaders have been holding
meetings to initiate peace in the world. However, all
of them seem to come down to peace between the
Palestinians and Israel. In fact for the last 18 months
the cry has been "Peace and safety in the
Middle East"by world leaders.
Are you bored yet? Please know that the signs in these
last two blogs demonstrate just how close we are to
the Tribulation.

This is what Paul says to the Church of Thessalonica:
"The Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
For while people are saying there is "peace and safety"
then sudden destruction will come as labor pains come
upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape...so
then, let us not sleep as others do, but let us keep
awake and be sober...For God has not destined us for
wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus
Christ." I Thessalonians 5
Both Jesus and Paul call the bride to be alert, ready,
awake, sober as you watch for your Groom. If you have
never asked Jesus to come into your life, forgive you of
sins, and be your Lord and Savior--don't wait. It is so
important to make Him your longing, your goal, your
pleasure and your delight.
He is coming soon.
"Now when these things begin to take place,
straighten up and raise your heads, because
your redemption is drawing nigh." Luke 21:28
