Substitution

'He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for
us, so that we might become the righteousness
of God.   (II Corinthians 5:21)

'Through identification with His death I can
be freed from sin, and have His very
righteousness imparted as a gift to me. The
teaching is not Christ for me unless I am
determined to have Christ formed in me.'
(OC)

Reader, The Lord Jesus came to earth as a
babe in order to become sin so that we could
have His righteousness. Something to ponder
in this season of parties, food and fellowship.
