True Reconciliation

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us,
that we might become the righteousness of God
in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

Truly, this is one verse that makes my stomach drop
when I read it. How is it that the perfect Lamb of God
would become sin for me so that I can come into His
presence as a brand new person? Notice that we be-
come the righteousness of God IN HIM. Truly, this
verse is breathtaking in its scope!

Oswald Chambers has this to say:
Jesus Christ reconciled the human race, putting it
back to where God designed it to be. And now
anyone can experience that reconciliation, being
brought into oneness with God, on the basis of
what our Lord has done on the cross.
