Hardness?

I wonder if we lose sight of God and our heart's get
hard, or whether we don't understand how important
it is to stay connected to Him through worship.

"...worship God." Revelation 19:10
" God is spirit, and those who worship him must 
worship in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)

Oswald Chambers says:
'Are we worshiping God in a way that will raise us
up to where we can take hold of Him, having such
intimate contact with Him that we know His mind
about the ones for whom we pray?'

Reader, true worship brings softness towards others.
When we fail to give glory and praise mixed with
thanksgiving to God, we get hard inside. It is so
easy to become self-centered in our prayer life and
to pray without power or understanding.
